“The manner in which society treats its youngest members has a significant influence on the way in which it will grow, prosper and be viewed by others- children are the touchstone of a healthy and sustainable society (Klein & Gilkerson, 2000). Approximately 40% of young children in South Africa grow up in conditions of poverty and neglect; timely appropriate support could reverse the effects of early deprivation and maximise the development of innate potential” (Engelbrecht & Green, 2003).
I am a Cloudscape of unique dreams send to you from Above, I don’t want treats, I don’t want a new toy, I need CARE, TRUST, PATIENCE and a LOVING HEART.
Please mummy don’t disregard me, the little Cloud beg, I am fragile and needs guidance on my own developmental path; I know mum and dad has to work long hours and have a lot of pressures from daily storms of life
Some days I might get all rowdy, but then at times this little Cloud sleeps like Angels like a whispering stillness and calmness of night
I need a place where I can feel save, to receive guidance and develop my own uniqueness
So the story of contented Clouds begin, where each moment is of the essence, which leads to these Clouds thriving within a loving Educational Support Centre: Home School, Day Care and Aftercare named Nuvoloso di Angeli CC- Cloudy Angels; where the believe subsist that with timely appropriate support innate potential could be maximise.
“This Care Centre has God as its foundation- Anchor. Our buildings bricks are made out of care, respect, love, guidance, hope… One would say the aforementioned words is meaningless just another centre using descriptive words. We believe words must be shown through actions- we have patience, compassion, care and empathy within this Private Educational Support Centre: Home Schooling, Day Care and Aftercare. We do the best with the facilities and resources we have at our disposal. We try to better the Educational Support Centre, Day Care and Aftercare, but Rome wasn’t built in a day, meaning everything takes its course and nothing can be rushed. If I think back we didn’t have much at the beginning of June 2005, but now there is much more room for the kids and everything took a steady pace, but we really had the guidance from God.
We try to guide the child on an emotional, cognitive, behavioural, physical- holistic- development path. We give the child a happy environment with care, where every child’s uniqueness, as well as individual talents is embraced. Your child’s cognitive, emotional well-being, together with the physical well- being, is of utmost and valuable importance. Each child is away from home and for that period they need to feel save. Not every child adapt well to new situations and if they don’t feel save or happy within the environment where they are; then one is going to do more harm to the child’s well-being than any good. Every child need and deserve to feel save and cared for.
We try to give the child a sense of belonging through holistic care, which isn’t an easy task. Each child is unique and different, every child come from a different family environment, every parent has different believes and values”.
We do more for the children, because they deserve more. We give the children a homely environment, balancing discipline, as well as keeping in mind that every little one is unique and has different personalities. Children learn social skills, how to solve peer problems, as well as grow emotionally. The Registered Homeschoolers who are registered within the Educational Support Centre; meaning the Grade 00 to Grade 7’s (ages 5 up to 13) receive qualitative education. Each child works on his/her own pace. Each child with its own personality is seen as a wonderful gift from God, who has the potential to become anything by the Grace of God.
We are a registered Homeschooling Support Centre (hulpsentrum) working together ith the Main Centre based in Pretoria. We believe the child need an educational program that will form their minds, but most important to capture the essence of each unique child. Recognizing that each child has the potential to overcome any hurdle’s in life and get the best balanced educational stimulation under the wings of already caring personnel; working together with the parent’s.
We realize that the parent’s want the best for their child and the parent’s are currently seeking a centre where they can still feel part of their child’s unique individualistic development, but also has educational facilitators who can give their child guidance and teach then, while they are at work. Each parent knows that the responsibility still lies with them to mould their little ones. God has been with us thus far and will always be the epicentre and the foundation of the Private Educational Support Centre, through Him all things is possible! The Homeschooling educational program caters for both Afrikaans and English Christian children.
